Posted: 03:21 24 Jun 05 #2 My CK3000 was installed by local Best Buy dealer. But my CK3000 is having problems and I was wondering if you could help me.

I just installed a Parrot CK3100 evolution bluetooth kit at lunch. So far it works fantastic! I'll be taking some pictures and write up what I went.
I use it with a brand new Treo 650 phone. The CK3000 evolution seems quite buggy. Sometimes when I say the magic word 'telephone', it will chirp at me three times in a row before giving me the special chirp that tells me that I should say the contact name. Other times it will chirp on and on endlessly without giving me the special chirp that tells me that I can say the contact name. I will be forced to press the red key to try and end the cycle.
Somtimes that will work. Other times it will turn itself off and on 5 - 6 times in a row before it seems to 'reset itself.' About 5-10 seconds after I start my car, the CK3000 flips itself on and off quickly for no apparent reason. Sometimes I will say 'telephone' and it will turn the CK3000 on, then it will turn off without ever allowing me to say a contact name. Sometimes when I try and dial a phone number it will reset my Treo 650! I have already reset the CK3000 and reloaded all of the names.
It still seems to have this problem. Could my CK3000 be defective? Posted: 02:45 26 Sep 05 #3 The Treo 650 is a tricky beast to set up, files to DLL from the Treo site etc, have had a customer of mine whom i installed a parrot CK3100 for, and he had really good results see and is considering installation into his other 2 vehicles see - (you may have to copy and paste link) Funnily enough he is a Doctor too (well Anaesthetist actually.lol) regards Terry Web- www.siocommunications.co.uk Email - [email protected] Tel - 66 Tech Forum - http://users.boardnation.com/siocommunications/index.php. Posted: 22:42 21 Apr 09 #4 Hi, y'all! I've recently migrated my CK3000 to my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the factory premium sound system (Infinity). System works (I can make and receive calls, other party hears me acceptably!), but there is an unacceptable (and loud) scratchy noise emanating from the rear speakers when the Parrot mute-box takes over (phone sounds from front speakers only, which, I believe, is as it should be). Makes no difference whether the unit is installed with or without the yellow mute cable connected to the relevant pin on the stereo.
Local agent stumped, anybody any bright ideas? (I could not get an adaptor harness, so I spliced-in the unit directly. I've checked the speaker wiring a zillion times to check for correct phasing, can't find a fault there).
